thank's bacca simon has been on to me for ages to do writeup with photo's but as i'm such a slack bum he couldn't wait any longer.
now i'll leave it to the master as hav gone as far as i can without help.

check out the xs650 forum's dady619 they are real helpfull and there are a few out there like xs650 garage,650 rider,650 motorcycles and australian yamaha xs650 club .

dady619 did u put on new sprocket's and if u did could they or the old ones be warped .
i just put new ones on my xs easy job if the bolt's loosen allright lol.
i just need a spacer to fix the wheel in right position now and then will fit chain.

i agrea on AWOL pommychopper the best chop mag ever i could only get it on and of but have a good collection plus backstreet heroe's before they sold out to the harley mentality also uk custom bike .
the pom's ride there chop's and chop enything.

it screw's into the left side engine case u can take the small cover on that case of to adjust the clutch cable at that end.
it looks like two screw's one plastic one metal inside the other and yes it has a cable holder on it.
still havent got workshop manual so gessing at the moment.
