Thankyou. Will seriously consider it for my shovel.
I've been trying to figure out how to upload an image so you can see the size of the antenna. So far, all I see is a way to link to an image.

Re: Couple of little ideas I had

Sorry, trinortz, I haven't checked the board for a while. Its still working perfectly, although the plastic lense somehow picked up a small crack that is only visible from a certain angle.

Re: Little mods

"Swish?"
LOL, I hope that has a different slang meaning in Australia than it does here!

Little mods

No big deal, just re-routed my fuel lines and got chrome tappet block covers for my 50th birthday... but it definitely called for a ride out to the lake.

Re: Two brothers, two Roadstars

The chopper with the girder is long and low. What rake and how does it ride? About 48 degrees. It rides like a nightmare, because the front end isn't quite long enough, and the bike literally sits on the left side of frame with the kickstand down. Leaves a lot of scrapes in the pavement near bumps....

Two brothers, two Roadstars

Few pics I shot last time my brother and I rode together back in October: http://i1020.photobucket.com/albums/af325/oldschoolpaulie/roadstars/IMG_3476_zpszxv0jtaj.jpg http://i1020.photobucket.com/albums/af325/oldschoolpaulie/roadstars/IMG_3474_zpswhhduhjk.jpg http://i1020.photobucket.com/albums/af32...

Couple of little ideas I had

I know I'm no fabricator by any measure next to the guys on this board, but I had a couple of little ideas recently that worked out pretty nice for my pro street Roadstar. First, I ordered a GPS speedo from Speedhut, which you can design online to your specs. Problem is that the Speedhut speedos are...

Finally!

Finally! 7 months ago, I was rear-ended on my chopper by an SUV while sitting at a red light. Almost killed me. Just got my new ride "somewhat" presentable enough to be road-worthy today! I'm still going to add/ change a few things, (Like the tail light... have a Maltese cross coming any day now) bu...

Cutting a fender

I know I'm not as knowledgeable about building as probably most on this board, so you'll have to forgive my stupid question. On the bike I'm building, I want to save money by not having to buy a fender, or through any other expense; so I want to trim the fender back, and re-shape the trailing edge. ...
