Re: Movie, Road to Paloma...

Actually, while the scenery in the riding footage isn't bad, there isn't a lot of it unfortunately.

BTW: Other bike in the movie is a Virago, weird

Not sure about the exhaust. Heats up the fuel, air intake, not to mention "Big Jim and the Twins"
I think you'll find that what's missing is the turbo that bolts onto the flanges at the end.

I think that recounting his version of events with no evidence is a tad biased, didn't take much searching to find evidence that the guy's just a headcase with delusions of grandeur http://loonpond.blogspot.com.au/2010/09/hal-g-p-colebatch-and-yes-feel-free-to.html https://quadrant.org.au/magazine/2...

Re: Who has jumped through the hoops in nsw.

I haven't lit the hoops yet, because a) I haven't started any actual mods to the frame, and b) you guessed right, it's fukn expensive, I gave up when I was looking at at least $3-4K for the welding, engineering certificates and RTA certificates. You may be able to save about $1K of that if you can d...

Re: Conflict solution...

Well that was a disappointment, here I was, waiting with bated breath for the people who have been the most unreasonably attacked and maligned by a group of people here, IE Pygmy and Happiosa, to get the apologies they deserve, or at the very least a token as far as "we didn't mean that the way...

Hi Nigel,

I won't be able to make it, the Viagra is reportedly running now, but I haven't tested it yet, doin' a big run without any testing isn't a good idea.

Hope Kerry has a great Birthday (she's still young enough to celebrate birthdays, isn't she)

Re: shocks to lower my virago 1000

Harley shocks won't fit an XV1000 properly, you could probably get them to mount but you'd be asking for trouble. You can buy shorter aftermarket shocks for the XV (Progressive is one brand that's fairly good, I have progressives on my XV at the moment, another brand is Hagon, I have a set that I ha...

While I agree with the vast majority of the points that Happosai has made, there are some observations that I would like to make here, and also feel it's salient to point out that Happosai is far from the only one who perceives the current state of the forums in this way. Youngblood, I am glad for y...

Re: N S W MUSHTER 2013

Ok, I generally try to avoid "me too" posts as I don't believe that posts that just repeat what others have said don't add value, but the value seems to be slipping anyway soooo, When I joined, the terms stated not attacking other members, avoiding excessive profanity etc, which seemed rea...

You know I wasn't, it's a nice, inoffensive bike, which is why it was a surprise that he jumped on you, of all people.

Re: Anti BIKE (Not Bikie) Laws Qld.

Shite Andrew, if he chases down vanilla, non aggressive looking bikes like your Vulcan with you aboard, he must be going after anything with no wheels. Not trying to make any disparaging comments here, but your bike is a nice, respectable (dare I say staid looking?) machine, and you don't look like ...

Re: Anti BIKE (Not Bikie) Laws Qld.

Actually, as well as us, I feel sorry for the (albeit small minority of) decent cops, we don''t see them much nowadays but there still some out there who are trying to do good for the community and help people. One example that comes to mind was on the way home from Mushter last year, came over at a...

Dunno how ya went but anything Mikuni call these guys http://mikunioz.com/index.html Rebuild kit should almost be here, but it's good to have a relatively local supplier. Actually, already got a win from that site. I couldn't work out why the Harley cables that the Mikuni site said were right for t...
