The responses say it all. Similar thought pattern . Years ago I was talking to a guy who had hired a car. He told me the reason he was hiring the car was his daughter killed his and it was being repaired. He had loaned her his car. She was driving along and thought the temp. gauge was reading high. ...

Having a sidecar makes camping with Madame less stressful. She must have her creature comforts. If Madame is not happy nobody is happy. Trial and error, take what you think you'll need. If it comes home and didn't get used cross it off the list for next time. For clarification, Madame was dubbed " K...

Johno, a part of the reason there were so many people out looking at the Toy Run was that a week ago various Lockyer Ulysses Club members walked the whole route doing a letterbox drop to every house along the way. Promoting the run and all the great sponsors.

What a day !! I don't have numbers yet but I believe the expected numbers were surpassed. Great weather,if a bit on the hot side. The start had all undercover parking so that was a blessing. Lots of cold water made it better. Met briefly with one C.A. guy. We were setting off so my apologies for the...

Getting into the spirit of the season. UPDATE on the toy run. If the chance to spread some Christmas cheer, be generous to those less ...

Yes, they chopped 2 strokes in the 70s but it would be nice to think we can learn from our mistakes. I've always had a soft spot for 70s 2 strokes but to chop one these days seems criminal . Kwaka triples are just too rare and special now.

I'll be there for sure. Having the breakfast and in for the run and the raffles. If I'm well enough we'll turn up on the outfit. If not too good we'll still make it one way or another and make the most of it.

Valid point about the dust. From my experience the trotting track itself and the drives are dusty but the huge infield and off street parking areas are OK. Check out the Twilight Hot Rod Show on Australia Day, that will be a test run for Greazefest. If there are problems or complaints the organisers...
