Re: Gerry ride #2 Broken DNA springer...

Holy crap........can't believe the hostility you been getting, Gerry. I've been to Alice, and along the way, everyone was polite and decent country folk. We were in a car, but, still, sounds like attitudes have changed. Glad the Trumpy is running good, top photos and storyline. Cheers.

Re: 21" Solid front wheel

Heard same stories as Prof. I believe that Castalloy/ROH wheels in adelaide did them for the Fatboy a few years back. Later models had holes machined in them to help alleviate the wind forces. Maybe try Centreline wheels.?

Re: Ride to St Albans (Sydney)

There's a mix of people and some amazing bikes but then there's also a large amount of (mostly younger) people getting in on a trend or just postulating (IMO) but this happens within any group. I also think that many of the followers will shave their beards when they are no longer fashionable. What...

Re: James GSX750 chopper #2, tank mounting...

Wow, Andrew, That's a lot of work for a tank mount. Agreed, it will look sweet, and last forever.

Great stuff. Good on you guys for getting out in the colder climate.
Sleeping in the stable looked like a cool idea. Soft ground, and shelter.
Thanks for the pics of the cars , too.
