Re: Which bike is that...?

Yep BMW Cruiser,
Ugly as but have ridden one and it was a great handling bike.
1150cc from memory.

Mate had one and an R65, I rode it down around Phillip Island, great to ride but glad non of my mates saw me,
bit like riding a scooter I suppose. lol

Re: Bombala 2013

Not wanting to offend I noticed I left out those from WA, NT, ACT, QLD and Tassie. Sorry guys obviously all are welcome and if we could get every State and Territory represented would be a blast. Its worth the effort and probably one of the more central rides we do (Except for WA). very laid back bi...

Re: Santee Savior frames for Hondas?

lol Neale, was waiting for a question about that,
was meant to be IMNSHO.

I am sure that makes much more sense.

Good luck with it,

Re: Bombala 2013

Just a reminder everyone that this is sneaking up on us again. Kerry and I will be making our annual pilgrimage and it would be great if we could get a few other CA Members to join us. Yes I know it has rained every year  but this year will be different. If enough going I may be able to...

Re: Santee Savior frames for Hondas?

OMNSHO The plunger rear end was one of the best looking chop frames. Not sure why I just really like the look of them and was thinking of fitting a plunger frame to my trumpy at one stage. Those ones you posted would have been great Tex, also cheaper postage than a full frame. Ride Safe Nigel

Re: N S W MUSHTER 2013

Neale,
Hope you get done in time but seriously if not, drive up, train up, bus up, just be there. 8)

Getting close now, not sure what I will be on either but if I can get the trailer empty in time I will be taking the trumpy as well as the sporty or dyna.

Re: N S W MUSHTER 2013

Neale, Mate, No issues with riding a horse to the mushter, Oh spelt different, never mind you are still welcome on the pegusus, or by car however you can get there. Its as much about the get together as the bikes anyhow. Just remember if you are riding the pegaso, "don't mention the M5" :P Ri...

Re: SU Carbie

Bear, I have heard (and experienced) the same untill I got a guy that tuned them right. Had few issues after that on either my Torana 6Cyl running triple SU's or my MG running twin SU's. A lot of the problem was with balancing the multiple carbs (from memory). Looking at running just a single SU her...

Thanks KGB,
I have seen the new kits for about $600,
I am trying to pick up 2nd hand if can find a good one.

Really like the idea of an SU as hve had em before on a Torana and my old MG.
I actually have a pair of em of my MG in the garage but different to bike ones I beleive.

SU Carbie

Just after some feedback.
What do you guys reckon a fair price would be for a 1 3/4" SU carbie with manifold and air cleaner.
I am thinking of fitting to my 1200 Sporty as a street tracker project.
I have already got bars, tank, mirrors, seat etc sorted.
