Drop the bolts at the bottom of the barrel if the barrel moves upwards when you pull on it but the piston doesnt move its the piston if the barrel comes off but the piston doesnt move its the bottom end.

on some shovels you could also run the speedo from the tranny, if you still want a speedo that is !

Personally I would pull the tranny out, if that is happening on the outside I reckon there is more goin on, on the inside. Check all the gears for wear, the selectors, pawl carrier,bushes and seals. The tranny should have been selecting without too much movement in the controls, it just doesn't soun...

Have you started doing your ICV paperwork yet, they are gettin fussy on seeing plans and work in motion on chopper builds. Lookin good !

thanks for the welcome fellas. I am looking for a lams approved bike, and I have my eyes on a few. Just waiting for the moolah to come in, not easy with 2 kids and a job as a nightfiller at woolies haha. But looking at either a GN250, Virago 250. but I can get xs 400 for 250 from a wreckers in Waco...

sorry dude I thought they were the same as the harleys. Hey I am a harley guy and most trumpets I have worked on are backyard abortion jobs to begin with non-stock frames and scary front ends .

Narrow glide hub off what year ? I like that first motor mount better but its all personal opinion isn't it. Keep up the good work !

drill holes in your bars and run the wiring internally, this will clean it up.

wiring on that last one looks tidy. :mrgreen: wat about the belt holding te battery in :?: :mrgreen: ha ha I decided that the first one was earlier work cause I can see a big scary loom hangin from the bottom of the gas tank and the last bike i.e the black sporty was your last as the wiring is heap...
