Thanks for the replies I'm was just finding out what people have done as I want to "adjust " the bike but not if its going to cost me thousands ..the bike cost me nothing :shock: I was using the replies to help me solve the dilemma ...engineer or risk it ..The parts I'm looking at changing are Rake ...

I ended up getting it off but wow what a lot of persuasion it needed :shock:

Now the engine is seized and I'm not sure if its the bottom end or piston stuck in the bore ..whats the best way to figure it out?

OK has any one in NSW who has chopped or bobbed raked or trailed and really should have gotten engineers certificate first just regoed their bike then done the custom work? and what do you do every pink slip inspection or am I best going through the expense of getting an engineers certificate? or do...

Moving the rear suspension

OK I'm in the process of bobbing a 83 KZ 750 LTD and the original placement of the rear shocks doesn't suite the look I'm after and I would like to angle them more forward and lower as well, is there any danger in lowering or moving the mounts and having more of an angle rather than that straight up...
