Andrew's shed

Post by Prof » Tue Feb 07, 2006 7:44 pm

Genuine 70's shot of Andrew about to assemble his 1948 model U 1200cc Harley. Front end is 8" extended Norton. Bike took two years to build, was very comfortable and had lots of grunt.

Note... all 70's pics now in following forum... "Chopper pics from the past..."

750/4 on trailer is Paul's chopper in progress. Will put some pics up on "Your chopper project." Bacca beat me to the draw.

Dave and I went down to Johns the day before and I'll get some pics up of his build on the same forum.

Keith,,, The Sporty generator is about 1/4" larger diameter and so won't fit without a bit of grinding. Also, although the two gears seem identical, the oil shileds are different, so I have to get on internet and find out what needs to be done... so "Walla Bob is just sitting there with some half made new pipes!
