Showing my Age

Post by Stoand » Fri Apr 28, 2006 8:37 pm

Here is a 750/4 I had back in about '78, the first pic is with a paint job, chrome covers, 6 over forks and 16" rear, then i painted it white with a bolt on Santee hard tail which my mate welded on for me, also a Mustang tank, custom oil tank, home made battery box, etc. I can still remember the hours and hours of sanding the body filler! All the custom parts that we couldn't make were obtained through the Jammer Handbook and sent from the US, i even had to pick them up from customs and pay duty!!!, (what ever happened to paying that??)

Cool ride mate. Those K series fours have so much character. They look good no matter what. And I recon you bought out the best in either style. Kinda makes me wish I still had the K2 I swapped in Melbourne back in '87.

Absolutely beautiful!!! I wish we saw more 750/4's like that these days!! "Bring back the 70's" (says he that was born in 82  ) We are hoping to mod our chop so it looks real old school :P
