a mid size cruiser

Here's a couple of snaps of my third machine.

It's a combo of a BMX, and a mountainbike. With some tubing and flat plate I had to buy to fabricate the triple trees. I put a fair amout of effort into the moulding of the forks and the V bars.

Rides really well, I'm just going to replace the front wheel with a rear wheel that has a braked hub, I'l weld up a small piece of chain then couple that to a hand cable so it'll be sort of like braking by backpedalling.

This will keep the look clean without those centre or sidepull handbrakes !

Rock on !

Brake idea sounds really tricky.

Chains and sprockets have a lot of novel uses eg welding chain along a flat bar to make a rack for a go-cart rack & pinion steering... chain makes a good pipe clamp and oil filter remover.... A piece of chain welded to a piece a flat bar with a hole in it makes a good tool to hold sprockets while removing lock nuts...
