At about 13 in 1970 a mate came over one sat. arvo and with half a garden shedfull of old pushies and parts he showed me how to extend the forks by hacksawing a spare fr. fork at a wide bit and just hammering them on to a stock set to get an 8 - 10" extension. A few more bangs to true up the fr. axle , refit wheel and done.

No welding ( didnt know what welding wuz )

Great fun .

With ape hangers , 20" back and 26" front , etc. ,even rode em to school for a while.

ill have to run the idea past the ol man hes a hot rodder who likes his simple almost politically correct kind of bikes
