I dont know what a 50cc tranny is (sounds a bit 'hows ya father' to me) but why not go a trad friction device, you apply leverage to said device it pulls a belt or similiar tight and your motive force begins to spin....kind of a simple clutch.

....stretch the back a bit.

I would suggest a bar between the top of the seat post to the steering head, otherwise it might brake in half :D definitely a death machine

how about butting the crank back in and running a belt drive to the oppsitate side of the chain and use the cromag system for a clutch.

Coming along nicely, as we used to say.
Way back when.
750/4 Sonic chopper.
A custom bike or a chopper should be something that has had the original essence of its existence altered to project the skills, objectives and artistic vision of its creator so the viewer or “beholder” and the creator can be positively stimulated by the actual bold or sublime beauty of the bike. Both need to project an essence of suitability, practicality, function and righteousness that has no stand for mediocrity or aesthetic blasphemy.

And the bars need to be shortened and swapped from left to right.

Put a cable and a spring on idler "M" so you can pull it off the belt and the spring pulls it tight.
The idler needs to be on the bottom.
It will take the tension off the belt and allow the engine to slip the belt.
Should work just like a clutch on a 1 speed.
If you don't understand, I can draw a better picture and send a photo.

This one is a better example

The top pulls and the bottom has a tensioner.

Yep: http://www.diygokarts.com/bike-plans/of ... ssion.html

Make it with gears or a single speed.
Primary chain to a belt to a final drive chain.
