So I hit this with a brass brush on my drill, Ideas for finishing it? I seen some dude dye some stuff black, could I do that?
2002 TA SHADOW, it may be small, but it's my first I'm I've ever worked on myself, *#@** the factory's, do it in your garage!

To polish it, go over it with varying grades of wet and dry (using plenty of water as you rub: water carries away the particles and stops scratching) until you are down to 1200 grit. Then out with the alloy polish of which there are a number of brands. Spraying it with tyre shine once polished will help keeps its shine. Others may have other methods.

If you paint it, then use an aluminium etch primer to help the paint stick. Don't paint the gasket face.

Black wrinkle finish. Ceramic coating. Powder coat. Anodised. Polished. Painted. Hammertone.............
