Harley drum/disk

Post by steve » Sat Apr 20, 2013 9:36 pm

Hello all

I am just tossing a few ideas around in my head and would like to know the answer to this question.

Do Harley Drums share the same pitch circle diameter (hole spacing) as the disks?
In other words will a Harley drum bolt onto a disk wheel?

Thanks

Steve

A local member has a juice rear drum on his shovel. I will get some measurements for you... however I suspect the mounting would be the same.

No. drum bolt circle is 2.816 disc is 3.258 also the wheel bearing is in the drum on mid star hubs so you need to make an adapter to run
a disc up front as they used OEM on the 73 flh.
I only know these measurements cause I made one today!
some meaningless dribble

Confirmed... did a mesure up on Crowy's bike & distance between mounting holes vary by about 5mm; the disc being the bigger spacing.
