G'day Walker, welcome aboard.

You'll need a photobucket account to host your photos so you can insert the link when you post in this forum.

I just tried to get a couple of screen shots but my work won't allow me to log into photobucket (even though I could do it last week) - sorry. You may just have to do a search of this site as this question has been asked before (I've had a quick look but couldn't find one...)

What motor are you running in the chopper?

What part of Sydney are you in?

I was in Balmain but am now in Hornsby. I can't say that I know of anyone off hand as I have been doing everything myself (even though my knowledge is very limited) since arriving here about 5 years ago.

I've dealt with Choppaweezer (Wayne) while he was still importing and had a shop at North Richmond but he has closed his shop. He does have a wealth of contacts however. I'm not exactly sure what he's doing now but believe he still has a hand in the 'game'. He is probably more easily contacted through Facebook, if you do the facebook thing.

The only other businesses I've dealt with are in relation to classic Triumphs and they are Trojan, Motocicilo and a bloke called Norm out at Maquarie Fields (he used to work for a well known Triumph dealer in the 70s).

Good luck with the photos - looking forward to seeing what you're working on!

I haven't seen white walled front tyres. Did this tyre come with whitewall or did you have it down. HOw well did it last.

Looks like the rim to me Prof, not a white wall.

I did have white walls on the front (and rear) of the Dyna - Avon Venoms.

There were other options at the time but the Venoms were the best value.

Walker, there is Surfside Motorcycle Garage at Dee Why. I went there once to meet someone and ended up speaking to one of the mechanics who was in his 50s and had grown up with bikes, particularly HDs. They had an eclectic bunch of bikes in there including classic & vintage Harleys, Britt, Jap & European bikes.

I don't know anything about their reputation though.

Nice collection of bikes you had. Looking forward to seeing the chopper!
