Post by Brassy » Thu Apr 22, 2010 2:23 pm

i was wondering if anyone could recommend a company in QLD that does rebores on ironheads the 73 is a little smokey and could probably go with a rebore and some new pistons and rings may just need new rings but i havent had a look yet just trying to come up with worst case scenario first
Thanks

Try Harry's Custom Bikeworks (Harley Mechanic)
http://www.harryscustom.com.au/
I've never heard a bad word about him, and have always found him good to deal with, and I believe a few others have used him also.

Thanks midnight harry is switched on $250 to rebore the barrels and $300 for wiseco pistons rings and gudgeon pins, and bore is matched to the pots quite reasonable for the amount of stuffing around required now i just got to have a look in there and make sure its the barrels might get it done either way for peace of mind :)

Grunt Factory is the last building on your left heading south on the Yatala service road turn into complex at the takeaway and its the last building. They have a sign out front, Kev
