Kwaka 750 twin ...tank options

Post by gages » Wed May 22, 2013 5:47 pm

Got a KZ 750 twin that is taking shape, all new internals in the engine and just starting the cosmetic side of things .. The frame has those ugly side tubes on the main frame where the tank sits.
Does any one have advice on other tanks that may fit the frame other than the original.? After a slimmer type maybe

Ta

Dont think there are any aftermarket tanks that fit the KZ, in particular. Wasn't as popular as the CB or XS models. Any tank can be made to fit, but, I reckon it'll be just a matter of taking the frame to the local bike wreckers, and trying them on. Could you cut your tank and take out an inch, to make it thinner?

Plenty of this sort of thing on Fleabay....
