Front end swap

Post by gages » Wed Oct 30, 2013 8:00 pm

Hi all
Sloooowly putting a 83' Kwaka Kz 750 twin together and would like to increase the rake on the front end ,getting engineered is out of the question mainly on cost but I'm looking at possibly using a Vulcan 1500 front end that has a rake of 32 deg versus 28 for the twin

Will I achieve the increased rake by using the Vulcans front end or will my neck angle dictate the rake ?

Doin my head in

Ultimately, it will be the angle the neck is welded to the frame at. You may alter the "look" of the rake, by fitting longer forks.
