SA Prof's 60th Birthday Run

Post by Prof » Wed Jan 23, 2013 10:42 pm

Have managed to make it to 60... on Feb 1st!!... thanks to some vigilent guardian angels I suspect...

Anyway in 1974, I celebrated my 21st Birthday with a 21st B'day Run and it's time to repeat the process...

Sunday Feb 3rd, meet at our place and then at 1.30pm head off to Strath, Goolwa and Victor harbor. Should arrive back at Willunga between 4pm and 5pm.

Ladies and kids as well are all invited for BBQ tea around 6pm.

Bring some meat for the Barby, a bit of salad etc and drinks.

We will provide fruit salad and icecream, tea coffee etc.

No presents please.

See you on Feb 3rd...

Boy you give us a lot of notice mate.
A week isn't enough time to get organised but would have loved to have come over for it.
Have a good one :D

Yep it's a bit difficult to have enjoyed the 60'd and 70's and not have age catch up! But still some life (and plenty of riding) left in us guys yet.

Our bones might creak and our upright hours be shorter, but we can still through a leg over the chopper and kick her through and do the some of the same silly things we did forty years ago!

Pics of ride coming... but a few blokes complaining about slowness in The Chopper Shed, so their happiness comes first.

It was perfect weather and though we got started pretty late, everyone loved the ride.

Oh well. Paul's beaten me to the shower so here's one pic for starters...
