Stone 3D

Post by BobbaZooki » Wed Mar 17, 2010 2:41 pm

The classic iconic 1974 Australian movie "STONE" .......... is to be remade
Filmmaker Richard Cartwright is in preproduction and is looking for backer's and motorcycle clubs to participart ,has the full blessing from the original star and director Sandy Harbutt , word is that Quentin Tarantino will be a producer , some of the original "gang members" will be included , the new film will be brought into the present , and not set in the 70's . Reflecting on the original script, Carwright is intent on balancing the action and drama with an emotional core ," i would like to see legitimate involvement from various bike club's, I want reality and intergrity, when your writing a story about a cultural situation, you need to make it real, otherwise you're a phony". the film will be made in 3D.
For those who would like to invest in the remake can go to the following link .

I can almost hear the poor horse being flogged as we speak

Always wondered why they didn't get funding for "Brothers at War", that would be a better original story.

Looking for backers??
Now there's a sweet bet if ever there was one. Quentin Tarantino?
I saw a QT movie a while ago with an Aussie chick in it. It sucked, a clunker.

"and keep yer spanners off our moles"
I hope that line stays in.

"Can ya dig it" ? "I can dig it, man"......

O sweet lord
750/4 Sonic chopper.
A custom bike or a chopper should be something that has had the original essence of its existence altered to project the skills, objectives and artistic vision of its creator so the viewer or “beholder” and the creator can be positively stimulated by the actual bold or sublime beauty of the bike. Both need to project an essence of suitability, practicality, function and righteousness that has no stand for mediocrity or aesthetic blasphemy.

Definatly a product of its time.....i dont think it'll transfer to the new millenium well at all.....

Shoot theres so many dark deeds in the mc community it'd be easy to script just about anykind of drama action flick you wanted.......hell a zombie biker flick might be worth lookin into ....

The reason is because neither "party" involved want's to wear the "black hat" ...... film speak for the "bad guy" ... plus it's dangerous territory for a filmmaker ,both legally and physically
