Norton Oil Filter

Post by flexyourhead » Sat Jun 22, 2013 3:50 pm

Hi again.
I've just got myself an after market Norton oil filter off Ebay . They seem to be a standard item as there's a few businesses selling them.
My question is, can it be moubted so the filter is on top and the inlet/outlet pipes are on the bottom or is there a definite position it has to be mounted in?

They are usually mounted with the filter to the bottom so you don't make a mess when changing filters, but otherwise I don't think there are any issues with running them inverted.

I used to be Vague...................Now I'm not so sure
