Nifty car pusher

Post by Prof » Wed Aug 08, 2012 10:17 am

We have a lot of cars on the property, mainly Paul's collection of Zeds and last week needed to move a pile.

Came up with this pusher, whihc works perfectly.

The wheel is mounted on a cut down rear half axle housing weled to a piece of channel that is quick release to the tractor by a pair of drip in pins. We run the tyre at about 10psi so it conforms and grips the front bumper of the car. As the vehicles move and change direction the wheel rolls freely across the front of the car... no damage whatsoever.

Cool!
I have used a fat tire tied to the front of the Cruzers bull bar a number of times including putting cars up on the tandem, sure beats the hand winch!!!!!
