BMW it is, not sure but it looks like it's in a Triumph frame.

Part of a collection that showed up on the Streetfighters site about 2 years ago. There was some nice stuff in it.

Ben I think you'll find the frame is BMW. From memory they were the first to introduce plunger rear suspension in the thirties international races and cleaned up everything in the handling department for the next year or so until the others caught up.

Some time later, Velocette introduced rear swing arm suspension and won race hands down for a couple of years.

Yeah ive got a BM frame and that one looks right. Interesting feature on mine (which i think is also an R50) is the frame tubes are oval in shape, they start round under the front engine mount then taper into oval at the top just under the neck. likewise the tube running under the tank is oval.

The frame i have is extended 6" as somebody had begun a VW/BMW project.
Does not work or play well with others
