What a classic, another hardened criminal off our streets. What is the main issue he was arrested for, the fact he was driving a motorised esky while drunk(allegedly) or the fact he had no lights and indicaters.

Personally I think it would take a lot of COURAGE to drive a motorised esky. I mean, I don't want to FOSTER any criminality here but if ya don't give a XXXZ about the law and SWAN around the place ya just askin' fer trouble to CASCADE all over ya. However if he puts a second seat on the esky then he could carry a PURE BLONDE around with him. Aaaargh, I gotta stop now, I need a drink.....

Well a motorised esky is not really my cup of tea, but I hope the magistrate sees the funny side of this case and dilutes the sentence. I'm sure the offender would drink to that.

Twenty years ago a cop would have just tapped him on the shoulder and told him toget home and stay off the main road next time.
Despite all the so called legal arguments it still comes down to giving a bit more slack in cases like this... the guy was having a bit fun and who was he really hurting?
You'll probably shoot me down in flames, but just what can anyone do to have harmless fun these days... bet all the onlookers thought the esky was really cool!

I think it is a very cool esky and the charges were stupid.

The fun police always have to be involved, really if he did have an accident how dangerous/hurt could he be, i find old/blind farts on there red carts are more of a nuisance and a danger than this poor sod i guess it,s just the perspective that differs.
