PROJECT BIKES AVAILABLE...

Post by Prof » Thu Mar 16, 2017 7:59 pm

I keep my eyes open for bikes suitable for bobbing/chopping and if there's any money available pick them up for customers.

These are not for sale to the general biker public, but available to purchase to build in The Chopper Shed...

Here are two recent bikes currently available...

Suzuki 500E.

Motor is said to be good (I haven't started it yet) and bike was ridden to Phillip Island last year. Has regio in SA. New owner would most likely keep motor and forks for the project bike and sell off the rest to recoup costs.

$850.00 I could sell the whole bike for over $1000, but it is here for you blokes who want an economical project.

CB750/4

Bought this last week. Still at the owner's and will be delivered in two weeks. Motor is said to be very good. Frame has been cut but would be anyway for a project. Has brakes, stock wiring and electrics, sprockets etc. We can add slugs to the existing F1 forks on it or go a DNA springer etc...

$2000

Here's a recent project bike (Suzuki GS400) Jake has begun. He's kept the frame cradle with bottom and front engine mounts but built the rest of the rigid frame. Rear wheel is a 16 incher of a Hyosung. Forks and front wheel are stock. He raked it a bit too much so it is very low and it may get a 21 inch wheel or 2" slugs yet. Looks lower than it actually is because tyres are half flat! He's since pumped them up, but it is still low...
