What a weekend!! To sum it up:-

We Rode in the back of a ute with beers, friens and a giant coca cola bottle for an esky.

We met a guy with a 1926 chevy powered by a home made hydrogen fuel cell who then let us ride his go kart on a rail track. I gotta say that jumping on a rail track in the dark with a powered go kart is an experience not to be missed  . 15-20Kmh in the dark along open tracks which enter a 1K tunnel stacked with glow worms; it feels like your going into hyperspace! :D

We saw some awe inspiring scenery, poor roads for rigids (and kidneys), drank LOTS of beer, ate lots of food and somewhere along the line figured out a route to Melbourne that everyone was happy with

The hosts were brilliand and deserve a big fat pat on the back for making us fell so welcome and at home, Thankyou!

A HHHHUUUUUGGGGEEEE thankyou must go out to Clay and Michelle for their fantastic hospitality.
Was an absolutely fabulous weekend. Well... I think it was, it kinda got blurry after the 1am bacon and eggs BBQ thing.
And please pass on our thanks also to your train track riding guitar playing old truck driving friends as they were also a great bunch and were very friendly. I like being able to request some one play a Gary Moore riff and have it done straight up. Legend.

A weekend that will be remembered for a long time.

Ah, the go-kart on the railroad track, its real, not an induced psychotic episode.
Bazooki and Michelle put on a great weekend, heaps of food, tons to drink, genuine and generous hospitality, and what a location.
Havent rode around in the back of a ute with six other people and a giant esky for 30 years. Your mate with the hydrogen powered Chev deserves a large thank you as well. All of us just decended on his place at probably midnight and he just rolled along with it all.
We also managed to get the route nailed and discussed the issue of a back up vehicle.
The ride through Vic is gunna be awesome.
Any Vic-ites that want to have a say on this, feel free to speak up. at the moment the Victorian contingent is made up of me.
Ben, thanks for posting the pics, now my missus believes me, however my girlfriend is still suspicious.

Stay tuned for the Bazooki posting with the results of the route discussion.

Well it was an Awesome meeting to all you who missed it !
But I must leave it to Bobba to post up the results so as not to preempt him.
All I want to say that even if the decisions didn't go the way each individual would have liked, be Assured that ALL points of view WERE taken into account in the process. A consensus is what we now have.
It's not about the Bling /:~)>
Well maybe a bit !

I'm jealous! Thanks very much for the pics and sorry BZ for not getting the artwork through to you in time...

Re SA Sunday at national Motor Museum... we've changed as muster activities (lunch, judging looking at other choppers etc) don't leave enough time for looking through the museum.

We also thought it a good idea to make a weekend of it at our place so members could have more time especially including the evening to catch up...

National Motor Museum can then be visited and looked through properly.
