A couple of tank straps

Post by leatheroo » Tue Jan 11, 2011 11:04 pm

Here's a couple of new tank straps i have just completed. The two- tone is for a trike that has a false tank (the real one is under the seat). The false tank has a flap to access the tank as storage. This strap with cover the flap and will be held in place by two bolts at the top( not drilled yet) and there are very small rare earth magnets on the back to hold the rest of the strap to the tank. The black one is for a 1977 FXE Super glide/Fatboy.

Cheers

Good to see an HD tank cover that is functional as well. I used to have one on my BMW that I could clip directions or a map onto.

You could do ones that have a stubby holder, mobile phone holder, fag and lighter holder, even a holster for a toy gun (with red tip on barrel of course!
