Speedo, clutch and throttle cables

Post by Prof » Tue Feb 07, 2006 9:44 am

Extending your forks usually means needing a... longer speedo drive...

In South Australia you can get them made to length at Flexible Drive Agencies,138 Days Rd, Ferryden Park SA 5010, Phone:(08) 8268 9433

http://www.fdrive.com.au Cost between $45 & $65 using your ends. Usually takes 4 working days. So you can stay street legal after all!

hi there, have bought myself a ratty triumph that someone has tried to chop but needs a fix up, the last custom i did was in the 70's so i'm guessing i don't have to send to the US anymore!!! just wondering if there are any good Aussie online suppliers of custom bits that anyone knows of as i can't find any so far, also, any shops in adelaide worth checking out
cheers

parts in aussie

Post by podgy » Mon Apr 24, 2006 7:54 am

hi ,as far as i know there is only one place where u might get some parts in adelaide thats at k and m motorcycles at richmond,as for the rest of australia none that i know of,the usa is the best place mainly cause all the aussie dealers are charging way too much because they know it's had to get parts.
cheers podgy

thanks for the info guys.

I'm heading overseas for a couple of weeks with work... perfect time to send these off and get some nice new cables to come home to.

Will be measuring up and sending off this saturday to Liverpool...
The 18" bars I had were starting to gather dust.

Once these bars are complete, can start finding a replacement to the mammoth tank on my baby.
