Qld Requirements

Post by FTWMC01 » Thu Apr 18, 2013 7:34 pm

Been on the phone with Qld transport today regarding modifying my next build. Seems that they want any non factory options for example handle bars, shockies and foot control engineered. I asked the Vehicles standards rep " If I change my handle bars and shockies to non standard items what is required?"
Reply application to modify and engineer to sign off.
That is to stay fully legal in Qld.

That's why unless you are doing major mods, you don't tell them.
