risers and mini apes

Post by ran » Sun Jan 23, 2011 9:45 am

im going to try a different idea with my bars set up..so im after some short risers and mini apes....maybe after a few sets of bars..as i may stuff them up when i cut n bend them....so a bit of surface rust or scratches are no issue...

cheers

Why not get a set bent to your exact requirements.

Sit on your chopper with your hands out in front exactly where you want them, and get someone to bend up a piece of thick wire to give exact height, width and angle of handgrips.

Getting a set bent should cost you around $50-$70. Saves time and money.

750/4 Sonic chopper.
A custom bike or a chopper should be something that has had the original essence of its existence altered to project the skills, objectives and artistic vision of its creator so the viewer or “beholder” and the creator can be positively stimulated by the actual bold or sublime beauty of the bike. Both need to project an essence of suitability, practicality, function and righteousness that has no stand for mediocrity or aesthetic blasphemy.

If its 7/8 bars mate got check out the bike store, old tip or any cool bike you may be able to use some funky chrome ones off an old lowrider bike or something, plus super cheap.

Riser wise there are some cool ones on ebay, check out trojan classic cycles aswell

Be careful with bicycle bars.
Very thin tube.
Ride it like you can fix it.
