Good show Tex. Nothing like surprising onlookers with one kick starts .

Difficulty of starting is inversely proportional to the number of people watching.

Tes's chopper is an alternator shovel. You'll see some nice pics of it here...

Brassy. Thanks for the interest.

It's a Paughco Wishbone Rigid frame. 1974 FX 1200cc Alternator Shovei.

The Carb is an SU Eliminator, made by Rivera.

http://www.riveraengineering.com/SU_Instructions_10-2009.pdf

I had it refurbished by SU Midel in Sydney. Runs a treat. Idles easy, pulls hard. Have had no problem with it at all. Sometimes a bit hard to start when cold, that's about all. Easy to tune, once you get the right needle in it. Just a mixture screw & an idle speed screw. Plugs & exhaust colour always good.

18" Apes, kicker only, 4 speed, Bates H/light. LOVE IT!!!

Andrew made the King Sporty Tank (by remote control!!). See the story here http://www.choppersaustralia.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=58
I'll be riding it to the Mushter in October.
