Cheers Mal.
Doubt Ill be able to make it Rick. Not by then unless a miracle happens.
I'll try to get some profile pics up as soon as the weather clears up enough to get her outta the shed.
Got the sissy bar rigged in place the other day and ready to weld up. Damn cable ties are handy!

Plan is to repeat last march's long weekend run from SA to Stawell as a way of Vic and SA members getting together. Having some Vic unfinished projects come down on trailers was really good too.
I am sure any NSW and Queenslanders who can make it would be very welcome to the weekend as well.

Awesome
Looks great Mr Grim !
Love your inlet manifold. I was just about to make a similar one for Li'll Johnny but found one which fitted under the top frame tube without mods.
There were so many different variations hardly two engines exactly the same.
Make sure you connect up the decompressor levers on the brass cover side or it'll be almost impossible to kick over.
Don't suppose it'll be ready for the Mushter ?

Starting Li'll Johnny
Well just got Li'll Johnny to the stage of trying to start it yesterday but NO WAY with the kickstarter I think.
Even using the valve lifter to lose some of the compression on the way up I can still stand all my weight on the lever and wait for it to finally leak a bit and go over compression on one cylinder.
No chance at all of kicking it up and over one cylinder.
Hope to get the sidecar frame on it tomorrow and then we might be able to push start it.
Of course it's the bigger 1860cc engine so maybe your 1200 might kick over with decompression.

Hmmm. Fingers crossed. Mines 85 ci whatever that is in cc. I can turn it over on the crankshaft ok with the decomp but might be a different story once the drive train is hooked up. Here,s hoping. You got any pics yet?? Love to see it!!
