Installed and set up as per instructions for his bike. This panhead is the bike we had a big challenge getting through regio because Harley Davidson did not use frame numbers until 1969 on Sporties and 1970 on Big Twins. Officer who did the number check after being convinced it had an original frame would not accept the info I had down loaded for him. I heard recently that another Panhead owner not knowing what we knew, had to have his Pan engineered ($1500-2000) and install all current requirements like labelled switches, indicators etc!
Saturday morning Rob dropped in to work on his Panhead bobber, Michael came up to strip his XV650 ready for chopping. I helped them as needed and did some jobs for myself including re-installing my front wheel with new brake shoe linings. Made up this extended allen key for the rear brake anchor bolt...

Rob had to clean his carby, set up hydraulic lines for his rear juice brake and install new fishtails. Got bike running but needs re jetting I suspect as does not run smoothly...
Took it for a spin finally (we set up suicide clutch last week) and had a dragging clutch... pulled it apart to check plates etc, but whole clutch basket moves out with plates so we need to install a retainer. ..
Meanwhile with a bit of help, Michael got his machine stripped and I made up a stand for the front in preparation for alignment on the raking stand. In two weekends time we will cut off the front and start building a gooseneck onto which a 6" over Meatballs springer will be fitted...
Rob and I worked 'til 9pm. Here bike put away waiting for the Muster next weekend...

This morning put together hub and rim to go to DC Motorcycles for spoking for Michael...
