Honda Chopper CB750 K1

Post by VMAX »

Currently on ebay very cheap.

Prior to being put in the shed 4 years back I put the following new items on it:
- 12" over tubes from Cycle Exchange
- New Lepera seat (Their top of the line).
- New Mini Bates
- New Tombstone tailight (with chrome skull cover)
- New 18" Apehangers
- New braided brake line (it cost me over $200).
etc etc..

The frame is flawless and a factory built job. No number stamped.
Tank is a single cap mustang
Engine is solid, not smoky and plenty of power.
Cycle Exchange pipes.
21" Front
16" rear with spanish rim (seems to be alloy ).
Pipes are cycle exchange.

Chop is fully wired with electric start (if youre lazy).
Forward controls and sissy bar are functional, but just mock up items. Better to replace with something keeping in line with the rest of the chop (i.e. Quality).
Paint on the tank is rattle can and bubbled from petrol or brake fluid spillage.
Needs throttle cable oiled up, battery replaced and brake master cyclinder serviced/replaced and the carbs cleaned out.
Hasnt been started in about a year. But will run without issue.

On ebay, no reserve.
I have more CB750 stuff coming up for auction soom including standard k2 frames, another CB chop with C&G frame and springer, new 8" over tubes and several Engines in bits. Stay tuned. Will also be selling (via Ebay) two XS650 chops in due course and a couple of LS650s.

Interested in the 8" over fork tubes and the frame & springer. Are you interested in putting a price on all of the bits here before you send them to ebay?

Cheers.
Dave.

HI Dave,

The frame and springer are actually part of my other CB750 chop. Which I will sell all together as a package, I have most of the bits to complete, just never got around to assembling it.
I had 15 bikes about 2yrs back and most were chops.

But to be honest my plan for selling the cb chops is to offer the winning bidder first option to buy from the other bits. It makes the offer more attractive.
They may want the chop, but would perfer my 6", ^"8, or 10" over tubes rather than the currently fitted 12s. Etc. Or they may prefer stock yolks and a coffin tank etc..
Having those bits available for sale in addition is probably an incentive for some folk, so they dont have to hunt for the bits.

I do have another springer front end though, and many chopper parts, so expect that I will eventually start selling individual parts once I have sold the chops of first.

cheers,
G.

Hmm.. What would you offer for a C&G rigid frame, with the springer fitted, CB750 engine with carbs and coils, Coffin tank, cross over slash pipes (rusty), 16: rear (rusty rim) and 19" Spool front. Rabbit ear bars, Bates headlight, Hx oil tank with battery holder (dented rusty) and single Lepera seat (or can sell separately new unused 1970's two piece chopper seats.. I have a couple I bought at ballerat. Im soon going to 'gather' together and list on ebay.. but im open to offers. (not low balls... ). Frame is stamped, came from VIC and perviously was registered with a CB750 engine. (I dont have papers).
