K2 Honda 750.

Post by DaveB »

For Sale is my Honda 750 4.
It's a cool mild custom rather than a radical chopper but has got plenty of period cred.

The frame has been smoothed at all the welds, it has a hexagonal oil tank, custom sissy bar, nice low custom seat(plus a spare seat in pics), modified fuel tank to sit closer than stock, Harley style rear guard, highway pegs, 4" over forks, 12" handle bars (I have the stock ones as well if you want), paint is blue metalic that is showing some signs of age but still polishes up nice, the pinstriping is hand done not stickers. Engine runs nice and starts easy, bike is kick start only.
Blinkers, muflers, speedo and any other un needed bits have been removed. Switches and wiring are simple bare bones as a bike of this style should be.

It's not currently registered but can come with 3 months SA reg if needed.

There is a couple of dings in the fuel tank and the chrome is starting to pit a bit.

Price is $5200
Phone Dave on 0408172790

I can send more pics of any details or video if needed.

Hey Dave. Is there any chance you could send me a photo of your CB chopper.... Right hand side, upright with you standing behind it for a choppers calendar we are putting together. I'm trying to get it done this month, but time is extremely tight, but still want to have it out for next year. Take photo with sun behind camera for a good clear shot.

If you can do this I would appreciate it.

Are either of these any good? The black bike is the reason the blue one is for sale

The black bike looks awesome! A REAL chopper :)
Love the lines and that tank really suits it :)
Definitely eye catching.

Cheers, looks better now though. Put the Queen seat back on, fitted a front guard, different tail light, painted the oil tank and made some brackets for pillion pegs.
Not far from rego now, just brakes on the front and a good once over.

That last set of photos are great... and the king/queen seat looks much better. Shot of you riding is as good as a photo can get!

Didn't manage the calendar this yea. Next year for sure, but am doing up the next issue of Chops'nBobbers this month. Could you do me up a story about it and email some more pics of details.

If you can, I'll pm you.

It is definitely a classic (70's) Aussie chopper. Honda 4's are cool bikes. I am chopping one as I have time as a shed bike and my backup bike.

Thanks Guys, the black bike is coming along nicely. Really happy with the way it looks and rides. If I could only sell the blue one it would be a big help! Price dropped on that by the way, asking $4900 now, it's on Gumtree and will be in Just Bikes mag as well.

There is a bit of cool period pinstriping on the tank. It was like this when i got it, so unless the bike gets a full tear down and rebuild it will stay as-is.
