Original wiring loom was stripped and reduced to minimise wiring. New chain and stainless chain guard. New TCS Stainless Ape Hangers. Stainless Diamond tank, new taps and hoses. New coil leads. New AGM battery. New rear guard and taillight. Tins have been finished in a basic spray can satin black as new owner will no doubt have their own ideas about colour. Tank can do with some final finish moulding and frame and engine paint has chips. Engine and frame black was done by previous owner who also put in new pistons and rings.
All the chrome is very good. Front end runs twin discs with stainless braided lines. Alloy rear wheel will polish up beautifully.
Sissy bar has been polished, but pipes, chain guard, forwards and apes have yet to be polished. Once polished stainless comes up like chrome but does not rust or chip. Unlike chrome, any scratches can simply be polished out.
I raked this bike for a customer 7 or 8 years ago and made the stainless 4-2 turnout collectors, stainless forwards and quick release stainless trident sissy bar. It has been through a number of owners since. Tyres were new when I originally worked on it and though the bike seems to have been ridden very little, they have cracks and should be replaced.
This is a well proportioned, well handling chopper that you can ride for miles in comfort. It comes with 2-3 months regio.
