I fired up the sporty and took it for a short spin tonight. Starts instantly, clutch is grabby idles and runs a bit rough so needs a good tune, but quick off the mark. Has a shorty carb. Front brake needs fluid and bleeding... assume that's all. Only high beam, brake light works, but not tail light... so basically a good base to build a cool machine. Has King sporty tank with a small dent. Battery is good. Has left hand gear lever and drum rear brake which probably makes it a '76 or '77...
Trident apparently has new motor (right hand gear change)and comes with a pile of parts. Carbies are off the bike, but included.
