May 15th (Sun)... Military Museum Edinburgh... 11am

Southern Riders and Northern Riders meet at museum at 11am. Some of us are meeting on Pt Wakefield Road a few metres north or the Salisbury Highway overpass at between 10.30 and 10.45. Have a look around and then a short ride to where ever we all decide..

June 4th (Sat) ... Chopper Shed Crawl...

Leave Willunga 9.45am. Morning Tea at Dylan's Aberfoyle Pk, 10.15am. Meet other riders on Pt Wakefield Rd at Salisbury Hwy, midday. Lunch at Mal's at Two Wells 12.30. Then to Darren's at Para Hills, 2.30. Finish at Steve's at Gilles Plains 3.30. We need to know how many are coming so Mall can cater.... call Prof on 0428 562 554.

July 31st (Sun)... Willunga Almond Blossom Festival Parade... 10am

*Meet 10:00am at Prof's. Leave Willunga immediately after parade and head down to Yankalilla/Normanville for lunch.

August 21st (Sun) Willunga Swap Meet... Opens 7am

*CA always has a stall at this one. Bring your choppers for the display and we'll have a BBQ afterwards at Prof's.

September 17th/18th... Meningie/Narrung over nighter...

*Meet Prof's, Sat 10am onwards. Leave 11am, ride through Strath, Wellington, Meningie (lunch), Narrung. Camp somewhere. Return Sunday Arvo.

October 2nd (Sun) Motorcycle only Swap Meet, Balhannah... Opens 7am

Join Prof with a CA stall. Display your chopper, look around. Leave around 11:30 am for a short ride by a different route back to Crafers & finish with a BBQ at Rayne's.

October 16th (Sun) Strathalbyn Swap Meet... Opens 6:30am

Leaving Prof's at 6am or meet at Strath. Leave approx 11:30am and drop in on Brian at Wistow. Lunch at Mt Barker.

November 11th - 13th, SA Annual Chopper Muster

December 3rd (Sat)... Hills Run... 11am

Meet 11am Crafers Servo. Follow our noses... (Was a great ride and two gals... Thank you to young Megan for coming on the back with Dad to keep Rilda company!)

December 11th (Sun)... Toy Run...starts 11am

Some will do the run from Glenelg. Others to meet at Hahndorf Oval, followed by a short run leaving approx 1 pm.

Leave Friday after work. Camp a few hours out. See Ross at Terowie Pub Saturday. Meet up with northern guys, Grim, Tony, Ken and Glen. Visit Peterborough Motorcycle Museum. Stay overnight at Peterborough. Home Sunday via Clare.

January 25th (Wed)... Midnight Ride

Meet Vilies Cafe, Richmond, 8.00pm Cruise Glenelg-Brighton Beaches, up Cement Hill and across Blacks Rd, Coromandel Valley, Blackwood, Mt Lofty. Finish at Pancake Kitchen 11.30 Bikes are parked at Pancake Kitchen's front door by prior arrangement.

March 10th-12th... Mildura Meet the Vics

This is a South Australian long weekend. Leave Friday night after work. Camp a few hours out. Jeff's place at Mildura Saturday midday. Leave Sunday late arvo. Camp a few hours out. Home Monday afternoon.

August 19th... Willunga Swap Meet

See forum for details. Swap Meet is on Binney Road Willunga and starts 7am. Bring your choppers to display at our stand. Finishes around 11.30am... then to Prof's a mile away and a BBQ lunch followed by a local ride.

September 23rd... Gawler Swap Meet

Meet at Swap Meet. Leave apporx 11am. Decide on a ride with whoever is there.

October 7th... Balhannah Motorcycle Only Swap Meet

Prof will be there at 7am with CA stall. Bring your choppers for all to see. We usually get one or two new members our of this even. Remember to bring your clocks forwards one hour on Sat night.

November 11th (Sunday)... SA annual Muster

Prof will be there, maybe see a few others. Prof will be there on his chopper a bit before opening time at 8am. If it is good weather, suggest others who attend, go for a ride afterwards...

January 30th... Monday

A bunch of local petrol heads are inaugurating an annual motor gathering at Willunga oval... classic cars and bikes, hotrods, choppers and whatever else has a motor. 10am - 3pm. If you would like to put your chopper or car on display there do so and we will meet there and leave around midday for a short local ride afterwards.

February 13th Wed... 2nd Summer Midnight Ride...

Meet Vilies Cafe 8pm, Route to be decided. Finish at Pancake Kitchen 11.30 Bikes are parked at Pancake Kitchen's front door by prior arrangement. This is a great night of cool summer evening riding... and very nostalgic to many of us who did this sort of thing most weekends when it was just us and our bikes. All the coffee shops, hamburger joints and donut caravans are closed now, but starting at Villies and then finally finishing at The Pancake Kitchen which has never closed since it opened in the early seventies is still an experience... the younger blokes love it as much as us older guys.

March/April... WA Ride POSTPONED...

This ride is still on, but late in the year of early next year. However, Prof is flying over on Thursday 21st March until Tues 26th. Staying with Jerry and meeting up with as many members as possible.

Leaves last week of March (Sat 23rd) for two plus weeks. Purpose is to meet up with WA members, there'll be a couple of events on the weekend. We'll take a direct route over and those who want to can take their time seeing the sights on the way back. Blokes we know did this trip more than once in the 70's when the road was bull dust and wombat holes... and they did it on 60's/70's bikes.

Let's see a bunch of 60's-80's choppers going over this time. It will be a breeze compared with 35 years ago, but still a trip to remember... roadside camping, no fancy stuff and no backup. Who's game? A number of the WA guys will ride out to meet us and some of the SA guys who can't get enough time off will accompany us to Tumby.

Chopper shed nights have gone into recess, but a number of members would like to see them resurrected. Give Prof a call if you want to get these week night (once every one to two months) events up and running again.

SA Chopper 2012 Muster... Sunday Nov 11th...

Meet 10am at cement pine trees at top of Cross Road. Ride through Aldgate, Echunga, Macclesfield, Meadows to Willunga.

We go straight to Prof's Lodge for a BBQ, judging and trophies & some bike games in the paddock.

For those who can stay we'll finish up with our traditional sunset ride on the sand between Aldinga Beach and Sellicks Beach. BBQ tea when we get back. Outdoor 70's chopper movies.

Anyone who would like to stay overnight at Prof's Lodge are very welcome.
